Penny and Dime Studios was founded in 2018 by Johnny Zirkel with the goal to provide quality, affordable, industry standard production services to passionate up and coming artists who are hardworking, dedicated, and driven.

Johnny is an L.A. based producer and songwriter who has worked with talent such as Dirty Heads, Gin Blossoms, and Third Eye Blind, and producers such as Matt Squire (Panic! At the Disco), Rob Freeman (Gym Class Heroes), and Jordan Schmidt (Florida Georgia Line).

We offer services in songwriting, production, mixing, mastering, video, and design involving some of the industries best writers, producers, engineers, and artists.

What makes us unique, is all sessions include three engineers. Johnny Zirkel for Production, Rob Freeman for Mixing, and Mike Kaladjian for mastering.
